Amputee Football Association Scotland

14th Feb 2018

Inch by Inch for Scotland visited the Scottish Amputee Football Team as they continue to prepare for the upcoming internationals in Italy.
Amputee Football is played by 31 nations from across the world, 20 of which competed at the most recent Amputee Football World Cup in Culiacan, Mexico, in 2014.
Since 2012 Poland, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Georgia and Scotland have embraced the sport.
The Amputee Football Association Scotland create opportunities for amputees and those with congenital limb differences to play football at grassroots, club and national level, both for fun and competitively.
Inch by Inch for Scotland is all about taking on little challenges. Watch our video to hear about some of the challenges the team members have had to overcome. It’s a fantastic charity and we wish them all the best in Italy.
